Classes are coming in ~
We have had some great questions. Here are some of the answers.
Yes, there are grades for all core High School Classes. You can override any grade, because you are the parent.
Every teacher determines their grading system and is contained in their syllabi.
Yes, all assignments are posted in Google Classroom. When the student goes to classroom.google.com, they can check what is due and what has been turned in. Here's a handy one minute video to show this better.
Syllabi can be found in the Class Catalog or in the members portal.
Yes. Your contribution allows for your youth to take as many classes as your family wishes, however we would remind you that most core classes require 4-6 hours outside of class.
All families with Juniors can take TWO classettes each semester with NO CONTRIBUTION.
If you want additional classette’s you will need to contribute one session per child per semester up to three children.
We typically recommend starting with three classettes per child to ensure availability. However, if there's space, there are no limits on how many classettes your child can participate in.
Also, remember that you don't have to register each child for every classette. Many classettes involve the whole family as long as at least one student is enrolled in the program.
If your family is only participating in our Juniors section of the Latter UP Program, welcome! We require that you a two classettes each semester, which can be provided either consecutively or simultaneously.
Junior Plus members receive first priority for all classettes and, upon making a contribution, can register for as many as they like. You will also have access to our DIY Classette Library, which features many classes not being offered this semester, available for you to browse and enjoy at your convenience. Additionally, you will have access to a private space where parents host mini pop-up classettes, lunch groups, and other activities.
